TaoWards Taoist Silver Twisted Tianpeng Ruler Pendant
Protection
A handmade S925 silver Tianpeng ruler pendant with a long, twisted form and cinnabar-red inscriptions on several faces. Its changing planes bring different marks into view, while a discreet opening at the top keeps the outline simple.
- A multi-sided ruler form: the design draws on inscribed Taoist ceremonial rulers and translates that structure into jewelry.
- A twist through the length: angled planes bring more than one decorated face into a single view.
- Red on bright silver: fine cinnabar lines follow the faces while the edges catch light and define each turn.
- A 47 mm vertical accent: approximately 5.3 g, with a long silhouette that suits a clear space over a plain shirt.
One pendant only. Necklaces, chains and cords shown in photos are for styling and are not included.

The design, in detail
Get to know this piece
Changing direction can mean packing away tools you once used every day, or introducing yourself by a different kind of work. The unfamiliar part is real. So is everything you learned before it.
A new direction does not make the earlier years disappear. Let this turning silver form mark what you want to carry forward: the skills, standards and habits that remain yours as the next part takes shape.
A ruler’s form, with room for a turn
The Tianpeng ruler belongs to Taoist ceremonial traditions associated with protective authority. Historical descriptions and surviving ritual rulers use inscriptions across several faces; their purpose is symbolic and ceremonial, rather than everyday measurement.
This pendant keeps the long, multi-faced body and replaces a strictly straight appearance with a twist. Red marks continue across the turning planes, so the inscription and the structure share the same movement. The reference is carried by the whole form, not only by a single symbol on the front.
For you, the ruler can suggest a personal standard worth retaining: care in your work, reliability toward others, or honesty about what matters. The turn becomes a modern reading of adaptability—changing the method without discarding everything that gave it meaning.
Changing planes create the detail
A flat tag usually offers one main front. Here, the gradual turns expose adjacent inscribed faces, creating a shifting line of highlights along the edges. The geometry provides movement even while the pendant itself is still.
The narrow body leaves the red writing visible without surrounding it with a large frame. The simple top opening keeps the upper end aligned with the rest of the piece, preserving the uninterrupted vertical character.
Pair it with a separately chosen fine chain or suitable cord over a plain knit or T-shirt. Leave some open fabric around it so the twisted edges show. Length is approximately 47 mm; a reliable width measurement is not yet available, and only the pendant is included.
