TaoWards Taoist Silver Tianpeng Ruler Pendant

The Tianpeng ruler belongs to a Taoist tradition associated with Marshal Tianpeng. Historical descriptions of the sacred ruler include celestial signs, inscriptions of command and red-filled markings distributed over its faces. Its meaning concerns protective authority and order within that religious practice.

This pendant carries that visual language into a smaller object: a straight body, red-linked stars, long inscriptions and compact seal-like panels. The separate faces matter to the design because they let several kinds of mark coexist without compressing everything onto one flat front.

A personal “measure” is a contemporary reading of that form. It might be the promise to do work you can stand behind, to speak fairly, or to make decisions that fit your values. You choose what the reminder holds; the ruler gives it a recognizable shape.
