The meaning of the Shan Gui coin and Seven Star Sword

Shan Gui coins belong to the Chinese charm-coin tradition. Made to carry inscriptions and auspicious symbols, these objects expressed wishes for protection rather than serving as everyday currency. The round motif on this pendant draws on that tradition.
