The central words name the Five Gods of Wealth. The tradition places Zhao Gongming at the center, Xiao Sheng—the Treasure-Inviting Lord—in the east, and Cao Bao—the Lord Who Receives Treasures—in the west. Chen Jiugong, the Wealth-Inviting Envoy, represents the south; Yao Shaosi, the Messenger of Prosperous Trade, the north. Together they express a five-direction wish for prosperity.

The two side inscriptions make that wish more specific. “Gui ren zhi yin” asks for guidance from helpful people; “cai yun heng tong” expresses hopes for prosperity to flow smoothly. For a wearer, those words can recognize the value of good advice, fair collaboration and opportunities shared by others.

The reverse brings in the Eight Trigrams—heaven, earth, thunder, wind, water, fire, mountain and lake—around a yin-yang center. As a personal reading, that changing-world imagery can sit beside ambition: pursue what matters, while remaining willing to learn from new circumstances and the people you meet.

On the inscription face, a tall central panel organizes the main words, with smaller vertical lines at either side. Curled accents finish the upper edge. The raised silver and darker recessed areas separate the lettering, so the round surface still has a clear reading order.

The reverse is more radial: the yin-yang circle anchors the center and the eight groups of lines spread around it. A simple rim joins both faces visually. Without a large decorated bail, the little loop keeps attention on the coin itself.

Wear it alone on a separately chosen fine chain for a modest silver detail at an open collar, or let it sit over a plain tee. If you layer it with a longer pendant, keeping this coin on the shorter length leaves both faces free to show. Chain and cord are not included.
